They are considered one of the top one hundred construction management firms in the nation. Barr and Barr Builders, Inc is celebrating its 80th year. Locally, they are well known for construction of the new’62 Center for Theatre and Dance at Williams Collegeand the historic renovation of the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield. Current projects include the Sawyer Library and Stetson Hall Renovation for Williams College and the Gallery and Conservation Center at the Clark Art Museum. We have partnered with Barr and Barr to build our next house on Henderson Road in Williamstown. They have generously donated their services as construction managers to oversee the successful completion of this home.

Bisson Excavating Inc. is a family owned and operated business serving southern Vermont and northern Berkshire County. They provide excavating services and gravel products for original, custom built homes, mobile/modular homes, septic installations, parking lots and structures, driveways and large scale landscaping. Bisson donated gravel and backfill excavating for our Henderson Road project.

County Concrete Corp. County Concrete Corporation was founded in 1973. Since then, it has grown to be a leader in the concrete industry in Berkshire County and surrounding areas. Country Concrete Corp. provided concrete at a generous discount for the Henderson Road project. Dow has been a partner since 1987 and will provide FREE Dow Styrofoam Brand Insulation products.
Francis Harvey and Sons, Inc. began over eighty years ago when Francis Harvey began working as a home improvement contractor. He built a reputation as a fine craftsman and taught his children the principles he learned. In the 1950s the company was renamed Francis Harvey and Sons, Inc. as his sons took over the business. In the 1980s the company moved into commercial building while still maintaining it residential business. Francis Harvey and Sons, Inc. is currently working at Williams College on foundations for buildings north and south of the Sawyer Library. Their crew has eagerly donated labor and materials to form and place concrete for the foundation at our Henderson Road Project.
Based in Cheshire, Gigliotti Electric is an electrical contractor serving the Berkshire County area for 11 years. Gigliotti is donating labor for installation of wiring and electrical service in our Henderson Road project.
Guntlow & Associates, Inc. has worked with the Habitat for Humanity for over Hunter Douglas has been a partner since 1992 and through their generosity has provided thousands of sets of custom aluminum mini blinds across the US. They have renewed their partnership and will be provide free blinds for bedrooms and bathrooms only for all new and rehab home construction. Jim Galusha Excavating is a general excavation and site work contractor. They have been in business for 25 years, serving the Northern Berkshire and nearby Vermont areas. They provided several days work excavating the foundation for our Henderson Road project with a generous discount in cost.
Larson has been a valued partner of Habitat since 1992 providing storm/screen doors for affiliates in the US.
Marc J. Bottesi & Son Construction Bottesi & Son Construction has been in business in the Northern Berkshire area since 1970. They are an excavation contractor with landscaping, driveway grading, septic system, and water line services. They donated water pipe for our Henderson Road project.

The Williamstown, Massachusetts location opened its doors as r.k. Miles in July of 2005. Formerly Taconic Lumber + Hardware, r.k. Miles Williamstown is set to meet the lumber and building material needs of the Berkshire communities. r.k. Miles has been in the lumber, building material, and hardware business since 1940. With years of experience, r.k. Miles is not only a valuable source of knowledge, but also carries the products you need to successfully complete all of your building and home projects. r.k. Miles continues its long time support of HfHI supplying discounted and donated building materials in northern Berkshire and Bennington Counties. Sinigur Concrete Pumping in Montgomery, MA is the success story of a Romanian truck driver who became an entrepreneur. Sponsored by a local Baptist church he arrived in this country several years ago with his family. After washing windows at Williams College for a couple of years he received his truck license and drove for a national freight company. To be closer to his family he took a job driving cement mixers in Springfield. From there it was a logical step to become an entrepreneur and he purchased a concrete pumping truck. Currently he is working at Williams College on the Sawyer Library and Stetson Hall Renovation placing concrete for the foundations. Sinigur Concrete Pumping has placed all the concrete for the footings and foundation at our Henderson Road Project. Square D is a market-leading supplier of electrical distribution, industrial control and automation products, systems and services. Square D has partnered with Habitat for Humanity International to provide load centers and circuit breakers for all homes built in US, Canada and Mexico. Square D is providing 100, 125, 150 and 200 amp service load centers with appropriate breakers. United, We Design assists NBHfH with webhosting services. United, We Design (formerly Set Your Sites, united with WinterTwin) is a unique design enterprise offering a variety of services to include basic and/or interactive website design, complete e-commerce stores, electronic business cards (digitized press kits), and electronic presentations and memory scrapbooking. The Valspar Corporation, building on its long-time support of local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, has made a multi-year commitment to donate paint for all Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the US.
Founded in 1957, Vermont Roofing provides roofing installation and maintenance for businesses and residents throughout Vermont and Northern Massachusetts. As well as roofing jobs, small to large, they also create and install custom gutter systems. A volunteer crew from Vermont Roofing installed the shingled roof on our Henderson Road project.
West Oil has been in business since 1949, serving the Northern Berkshire and Southern Vermont area with delivery of heating oil and diesel fuel, and with design, installation and service of heating systems. West Oil is donating the design work and installation of the heating system at our Henderson Road project.
Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation 671 Cold Spring Road, Williamstown, MA 01267 The Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation (WRLF) is a non-profit, member-supported land trust founded in 1986. Since that time the WRLF has helped to protect over 4,000 acres of Williamstown's most valuable farm and forest lands. Its mission is to preserve the rural New England character of Williamstown and its surroundings and encourage development beneficial to all its residents. To this end, the WRLF has worked on several affordable housing projects, for in-town residents and farm families. The WRLF strives to preserve working landscapes, protect ecologically significant lands and natural and recreational resources, and educate residents about their environment. At its Sheep Hill headquarters, the WRLF offers natural and cultural history programs throughout the year for residents, school groups and visitors. The WRLF manages trails on its six major conservation properties and works with regional groups on issues of public access and preservation. Since July 1 st, 2001 Whirlpool has donated an 18 cubic foot Energy Star â refrigerator and a 30” gas or electric free-standing standard-clean range for all new and rehabbed Habitat homes in the continental U.S. and Canada. Williamstown Savings Bank has been honored to support the work of Habitat For Humanity for many years through our Community Dividend Program. As a mutual savings bank, we are absolutely committed to serving not only the financial needs of our customers, but also the human needs of our friends and neighbors in Northern Berkshire County.
